Florida YMCA Youth In Government

Campus YMCA Congress

The Campus YMCA Congress is a student-run national model government program that engages college students by developing their public service skills. Our mission is to train public servants as servant leaders, emphasize policy over politics, and make public service relevant to all college students, regardless of their field of study.

Delegates must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at a college or university, or be a high school graduate between the ages of 18 and 22.

As part of College YIG, delegates will have the opportunity to:

  • Hold Chapter Meetings & Debates
  • Host Civic Events on Campus
  • Serve at College YIG National Assembly
  • Mentor a Middle or High School YIG Chapter
  • Recruit and Network with Alumni
