YPN EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FUND (EAF)

The Emergency Assistance Fund (EAF) is a support program available to eligible YPN prime members that provide financial aid when an accident, illness, death of a loved one, disaster, or other crisis strikes, and the means of needed help are limited or have been exhausted. EAF, a 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable trust governed by a board of directors, has two sources of revenue:

• YPN member and YMCA alumni contributions through the annual campaign
• Earnings from fund investments at Washington Trust, in Westerly, R.I.

These funds are available because of the generous contributions of our members.
