State Advocacy Days
IMPACT OF ADVOCACY DAYS
Advocacy is a vital component in fulfilling our mission of strengthening the communities we serve. Advocacy Days provide an opportunity to share our cause with state public officials at the Florida State Capitol in Tallahassee. While our engagement with policymakers is ongoing, this event allows us to strategically highlight the Y’s impact and champion critical issues that support the well-being of communities across Florida. Advocacy Days are a vital opportunity to align our voice with our mission and reinforce our role as a trusted community partner.
Every Florida YMCA association is encouraged to attend and help local Ys build and maintain positive relationships with state public officials.
