Student YMCA

State Assembly

The YMCA State Assembly is a dynamic three-day journey that empowers teens from across the state to step into the shoes of legislators and policymakers. This immersive event offers a model government experience like no other. At the State Capitol, young leaders come together to debate ideas, not people, and enact positive change.

During these three days, participants build lasting friendships, engage in spirited debates, and dive into the heart of civic engagement. It's an opportunity for teens to experience the democratic process firsthand, exchange diverse perspectives, and collaboratively craft solutions to real-world issues.

The YMCA State Assembly is where tomorrow's leaders are nurtured, where passion meets policy, and where the spirit of community takes center stage. Join us in this inspiring journey and be part of a youth-led movement that's shaping the future of our great state.
