We are thrilled to have you as a student in Youth in Government! Resources to support you along the way can be found in our resource drive. If there is a resource we missed, feedback or ideas to create a new one we would love to hear from you. Please reach out to Megan Jones at megan@floridaymcas.org .
Important Resources
- 2025-2026 Dates & Deadlines - All of the important dates for the 2024-2025 program year can be found here.
- Sr. YIG Redbook - This is meant to serve as a "guide to Youth in Government". It provides information on individual program areas, as well as leadership roles within the program.
- Jr. YIG GreenBook - For middle school delegates, this is a workbook to guide you through the year. Once you reach the end, you'll be prepped for Jr. Assembly with a completed bill and presentation.
- Fundraising Ideas - This will help your chapter come up with an idea for a successful fundraiser. It is encouraged that each chapter completes at least one fundraiser a year.
MobileServe and Service Resources
- MobileServe Getting Started Guide (with Affiliation Codes) - Walks delegates through the process of signing up for an account and affiliating with their Student Y Chapter.
- MobileServe User Guide and FAQs - Answers any technical questions you may have when using MobileServe or signing up.
- MobileServe Presentation - Helps advisors and officers learn how to use the administrative side of MobileServe and clearly explain the process to delegates.
- Florida YIG Service FAQs - Answers questions about our commitment to service, the Chapter Point System, and what hours can be logged.
