Legislative Program

Legislative Delegates will serve in one of two chambers based on their current grade and number of years of participation in Youth In Government.

 

SULLIVAN/WILLIAMS

Senators & Representatives research, write, introduce, debate, and vote on bills that represent issues of interest in their home communities, as well as arguing the merits of proposed legislation and passing policy on to the Governor for final passage or veto. These legislators carry on their policy making in the Capitol Building. Senators & Representatives also work to build a balanced budget. 

Final bills are due for the 69th State Assembly on February 18, 2026.
